SiDi remain one of the most innovative cycling shoe manufacturers, and continue to improve their cycling shoes to this day, as seen in the SiDi Ergo 2 Carbon Lite Road Shoes 2011, with exciting features such as the upper in Lorica and nylon mesh, made from the most sophisticated technology, the micro-fibres produced create a water-repellent, yet, breathable fabric, that offers exceptional performance and durability. The soft Instep Closure system, with the thermoformed material increases comfort and performance, and helps to evenly distribute pressure to create perfect centring. A new addition is the Carbon Lite sole. Additional features include, the techno II system, which helps to adapt the upper part of the shoe to the shape of the foot for a more customised fit, also, the calliper buckle and high security Velcro straps create a more secure feel for the cyclist. The improved heel retention device helps to secure the shoe more securely around the rider’s ankle and keep the foot in position when under a lot of stress.
